Scholarship Initiative

I aim to establish both a protected scholarship fund and post-secondary scholarships stemming from that fund to be allocated for DHHS Graduates.

Jack Plemper: This is a personal initiative of mine and is written from my perspective.

As we progress throughout high school we all must come to terms with the sheer cost of post-secondary education. Then after accounting for all other influences in our lives paint our own future with the canvas being our actions, choices, and decisions, throughout high school (especially in our junior and senior years). This places an incredible amount of pressure on everyone involved, and after recognizing this, partially as a result of my own consideration of my future, I decided that there must be more options available. It is wrong to only provide further education to those who already had the means to attend, and given that DHHS currently has no scholarships specific to its graduating body I felt obligated to change this.

I am currently investigating a consortium of potential supporters and will provide further updates as the matter progresses.
